About Us

NEAL BIRON, PRESIDENT

Neal is a graduate of Northeastern University with a Bachelors degree in Business Administration.  He majored in Labor Law and Industrial Relations.  He has been employed as an employee benefits specialist with United Business Insurance Agency in Braintree, MA, for the past 15 years.  Neal is a Vietnam Era veteran, having served in the Navy from 1968 through 1972. While in the Navy, he experienced first hand the difficulties facing military families.   

ANNA C. BIRON, EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR AND SECRETARY

From Dec., 1969 through July, 1970, Anna worked as the Assistant Civilian Food Service director at the Portsmouth Naval Hospital, Portsmouth, VA.  The hospital was a major rehabilitation facility for many seriously wounded Vietnam Veterans.  Anna spent a great deal of her free time, writing gut wrenching letters home to wives, mothers and girl friends, sharing the fears, anger, frustration and sense of helplessness of many of these young heroes.  She remembers many of these boys to this day.

RALPH W. MACDONALD, TREASURER

Ralph joined the Marine Corps in1961, and was honorably discharged in 1964. He was assigned duty as the company machine gunner during the Cuban Missile Crises while aboard the USS Wood County. Ralph is a life member of the Disabled American Veterans.  

Discharged in NY, he worked in jobs in the banking industry, until moving to Boston in 1969 with his new wife Connie. Upon arrival in Boston he went to work as the asst. comptroller for Brown Brothers Harriman, an investment banking firm, for 21 years. 

Ralph has operated a successful private tax consulting and preparation firm since 1990, and is an Enrolled Agent with the IRS. As an enrolled agent, he can represent clients at the highest levels with the IRS.  He is currently the Treasurer of the Mass Society of Enrolled Agents.
